This Big Box Culvert Tunnel for Underpass purpose that lay beneath railroad, were built in Jogjakarta. This box made by PT. LISA CONCRETE INDONESIA.
The size of this box are 8 meters width and 5 meters height. It constructed by 2 pieces component (Top Component and Bottom Component). LISA’s call this type of box as RCBC (Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert).
Every pieces of component have 18 tons weight, with 0.9 m segmented. Just for loading this component, it need 50 Ton Crane Capacity, and can be transported only 2 piece per trailer.

To install this Box, it also need heavy wight machinery, and once again, 50 Tons crane talks!. Just imagine those weight!. What if those Component fall in ground? Fortunately, the contractor (PT. MODERN SURYAJAYA) have a superb capability to do this kind of job. They can install it without mistakes, and it looks like an easy job for them.
